Xango on the go

by Penny on October 8, 2008

The famous mangosteen juice from Xango now comes in packets! This means that you can now easily bring along the health juice wherever you go without having to lug around the heavy glass bottle. This is very convenient for frequent travellers who don’t wish to skip on their daily dose of this healthy juice. Since the recommended dosage per consumption of this juice is just 30ml, each packet of juice is readily packed in 30ml.

Have a look at these cute juice packs.

If you have not heard of what this juice is about, you can read an introductory post I wrote on my mummy blog. Xango is the name of a multi-level marketing company from the US, and it sells only one product through its distributors, the mangosteen juice. The Xango office in Malaysia is located at Shangri-La Hotel in downtown Kuala Lumpur. Its star product is well known for its high content of anti-oxidants which makes it a very effective health drink.

The product usually comes in a carton of 4 bottles of mangosteen juice of 750ml each. The juice is free from preservatives. It is predominantly made of whole mangosteen fruits (yes, the entire fruit, not just the flesh because the anti-oxidants are found in the pericarp of the fruit, not the flesh!) and a mix of other fruits like pears, cranberries, etc. It tastes a little sweet and sour and is best when chilled. I personally like the taste and so does my little one-year old.

Being a regular consumer, I find these packets of juice very handy. Not only can we pack them for trips, I can also throw a couple of packets into my handbag and consume them during the day. Thumbs-up to Xango for being innovative!
