Will you wear a fan at your neck?
by Penny on June 24, 2008
Another Japanese wonder has been created – a necktie cooler. How it works is that there’s a little fan attached to the tie knot that’s well hidden from view but will definitely keep you cool. But it looks like it’ll keep you cool only at the neck/chest area.
Is it clever to hide a fan under your tie?
It’s not a wireless device though, so it’ll look quite weird with a cable attached to your tie and the other end of it is connected to your computer’s USB port to supply power to the fan. Not that practical, is it? It also works on a battery recharger that you can slip into your shirt’s pocket if you are away from the computer.
So this is how you connect your fan to your computer.
But honestly, I think you’d be a much cooler person (appearance and character wise) if you just wear a regular tie and use a fan. And if you’re feeling hot while on the go, there’s always those mini hand-held fans with little propellers.
This looks like a better fan than to wear a hidden one
