Valentine’s Day gift idea #5 – unique flower bouquets for her

by Penny on February 4, 2009

Guys, if your lady thinks that Valentine’s Day without flowers is not Valentine’s Day, then I bet you will be spending quite a bit of money every year to buy her a bouquet. Flowers are incredibly expensive come Valentine’s Day!

For those who don’t mind splurging once a year and want to pick up a beautiful Valentine bouquet for their lovely girls, why not try a different type of bouquet this year? Do you always present her with roses for Valentine’s Day? You can try some other fresh combinations to make it different this year. Take a look at some of these lovely and unique bouquets.

If you must have roses since it’s Valentine’s Day, why not add a touch of difference with some white lilies?

I do realise that many florists tend to carry only roses or the more common types of flowers for Valentine’s Day. And many may not even carry the types of flowers above. But one place I’ve always liked when shopping for flowers and that you may be able to find these unique flowers is Floristika, where there is a huge selection of all types of flowers. It is like a flower warehouse where you can pick and choose your own flowers for any occassion. I found this place when I was preparing for my wedding some years back. Back then, they were only located in Bangsar, but now they have a shop at Pavillion Kuala Lumpur. I haven’t been to the one at Pavillion, so I don’t know about their selection of flowers there, but if you drop by the one in Bangsar, then you will definitely see the wide selection at rather reasonable prices (again, bear in mind it’s Valentine’s Day period so prices may be higher by now).

I hope the above unique Valentine bouquets give you some ideas of something different for your lovely Valentine. Happy shopping for flowers, guys!
