I’ve never heard of Eric Choong the designer. Not until I saw an article in the newspapers that featured the designer’s work during the recent Sydney Bridal Fashion Week – An International Haute Couture and Bridal Fashion Show. Eric Choong participated in the bridal fashion show and some of his unique gowns were featured in the article. What caught my eye was this classic, chic and elegant wedding gown.

Sophisticated bridal gown designed by Eric Choong
This lovely wedding gown is modern and elegantly adorned with Swarovski crystals to add a touch of glitter to brighten up any bride. I love simple yet classic designs like this. I am definitely keeping this design in mind if I ever need to make an evening gown to attend special occasions!
Eric Choong’s designs are one of a kind as this aspiring designer works hard to break away from conventional designs. His work has been largely featured over the years and he even won the 2007 Designer of the Year at the MIFA Awards. You can read more about Eric’s work from the feature written on him here.
He definitely has some great ideas on making unique wedding gowns and I like the fact that he goes easy and natural on the whole wedding look. He doesn’t overdo the look with too much accessories, preferring to have simple head gears to go with his bridal gowns.
Ahh, if only I have discovered Eric Choong back then when I was hunting for a wedding gown…
