stack of magazines 300x234 Tips on saving on magazines

Do you buy magazines on a monthly basis? Well I do, and at different points I used to buy different types of magazines almost on a monthly basis. I’ve stopped many of the magazines because I simply don’t have the time to read them, but there are a few important ones which I’ve continued buying month after month.

Then I realised that I should just subscribe to it for a year instead of buying them off the racks. Firstly it saves me the hassle of going to the news-stands to check out the month’s release. But the biggest benefit is that I actually save a whole lot more this way! I have a savings of 30% just by subscribing for a year.

I don’t know why I’ve never done this subscription thing earlier although many times some of my friends had suggested it. I just shrugged it off, thinking it was so troublesome because I’ve got to fill up the order form and get it posted and then make payment for it. So plain laziness got me no where. The same way I treated looking for insurance quotes (I usually get bored by the second quote and just decide to buy from one of the two being shown to me!).

So ladies, if you are a loyal follower of those ladies fashion magazines or whatever magazines, and if you are not already subscribing it, I think it’s worth the pain to do it one time to subscribe rather than picking up your copies off the racks monthly. It really works out cheaper!

Additional tip: you can try asking them if they can give you student price. You’ll be surprised that they can even at our age! :-)
