Look at all my souvenirs from India!

by Penny on November 26, 2009

My mom just returned from her annual holiday in India. Yes you heard it right, ANNUAL holiday and in a destination she enjoys, the outskirts of INDIA! If you would like to find out what it’s like, you can always drop by her blog and look at her posts of her holidays in India, Tibet, Nepal, etc. They make pretty interesting reads with pictures to boot. For most of us, it tends to open our minds to the cultures there as she mixes around with the locals and do what they do.

Usually there really isn’t much that she can buy for me from her trips to India. But this time, I received a whole lot of “souvenirs” from India! It began when I asked her to help me buy some Himalaya Foaming Fash Wash because it is a facial wash that I find very good and it costs one third the price in India.

So I’m guessing that while she shopped, one thing led to another and in the end this is what I got:

himalaya products from india

A whole lot of products from the Himalaya Herbals brand! I got 2 huge tubes of the dental cream, 6 bottles of the foaming facial wash, 5 bottles of cold balm for Ryan, 2 tubes of diaper rash cream also for Ryan, 2 bottles of apricot facial scrub, another 2 bottles of exfoliating facial wash, 2 tubs of wrinkle cream (bless my mum who’s helping me take care of aging! :P ) and some liver supplements for my better half.

She’s now quite a convert and is using all the skincare products from the Himalaya Herbals brand. And since I have them all now, I can’t wait to try and write reviews about them too. You looking forward to more skincare reviews? I hope so :)

It’s just as well that mum is back…apart from all these great goodies she brought back for me, we’ve also really missed all the warm homecook food :) She’s also the first person to lend me her ears to listen to me talk about some guy who’s threatening to sue me for one of my innocent post in my financial blog, Penny Sense. I think the guy’s not local, so if he does take up legal action against me, should I get myself some local or Oklahoma City lawyers to fight the case? But really, I don’t think the fella has much of a case against me anyway.

So should I waste my time dwelling on this or should I just ignore them and get back to what I do and enjoy life? I think I’ll do just that :) Remember to come back and read all the reviews I’m going to write on all those Himalaya Herbals stuff!
