Hi Penny! A great review on the book sale. I agree with the majority, i.e. the venue is small and the aisles are ultra-narrow! But I made things tougher by lugging my 1 1/2 year old son for the trip, which I shouldn’t have as he was cranky due to the 100s of people there. A lot of good books and would have left with a lot more had it no been for my son putting up a show. Thank God for McDonald’s which is just opposite of the venue!

But the best part was looking up for my wife and son when I was at the cashier….I realised that I’m picking up the tab!! And I only had 3 books for myself compared to a boxful for my wife and son…sigh….

Hi ladies, agree with your points. Haha, looks like we aren’t very happy with the venue. Let’s hope they realise how badly managed it was and next time will be a better shopping experience for us all Thanks for sharing your reviews here too.

thanks for your review! and i agree.. tiny, tiny venue and very narrow ‘aisles’ = not a comfortable shopping experience.
but if anyone’s still planning to go, i suggest a weekday or later in the evening. i went today (sunday) at 6pm and was out of there in an hour with a box full of great buys. queuing took less than 5 mins.
don’t bring kids or a shopping trolley. there’s no room to maneuver the trolley and small kids WILL get knocked over by eager shoppers carrying heavy boxes.
