I’m a dressy person, not as in all glamourously dressed up, but the kind of person who loves dresses. I hate tucking in shirts because I somehow end up with messy, loose ends of the shirt sticking out and I’d be consciously adjusting it every now and then. So whenever I can, I will opt for a dress. And these days, more and more pretty dresses are coming into the market and you will be so spoilt for choice.
I’m a regular visitor to Irene Lim’s online fashion store since I first bought a little black dress from her. The dress is made of Korean silk and feels very comfortable. Every girl must have at least one nice little black dress in her wardrobe as it is so versatile and can be worn for many different occasions. I wore mine to a wedding reception. I would imagine it to be fit for a girl’s night out or a little partying too. Except that I don’t head out for such outings anymore. Here’s the dress that I bought.
Simple and chic, and perfect for most occasions
If you are hesitant about buying clothes online because you don’t get to try them on before buying, Irene provides you with some information about the measurements of the clothes. She’s also very responsive in answering any queries you may have. So if you have doubts, just ask away. Irene also personally follows up on whether her customers have received their parcels once she has shipped them off. I was pleasantly surprised when I received an email from her a day after I received my dress to ask if I’ve gotten it. At least she cares enough to check.
