When I was pregnant, I was told much about brands like Avent and Pigeon for equipment like the steriliser, bottle and food warmer. Since they came highly recommended, we just went ahead with these brands without doing much research on my own. After owning the necessary equipment, I started to come across this brand called Petit Terrailon and at first sight, I actually fell in love with their products!
Petit Terrailon’s products are so sleek and innovative in design that many people would be tempted to splash on them. They don’t come cheaply, but they may offer value for money, depending on how you look at it. Some of the equipment can be used for many functions so you can at least justify the cost of it to be equal or less than what you would otherwise spend to buy each of those equipment separately. Let’s have a look at what I’m going on and on about, shall we?
First stop, look at this compact All In One Food Processor.
This was my love at first sight item that I talked about earlier. This food processor functions as a food blender, bottle and food warmer, food steamer and bottle steriliser. It costs RM499, which comes close to the price of just a steriliser in the market. However, since this is a compact equipment, you can’t expect to sterilise too many milk bottles at once. There is always a disadvantage to compact items but if you are a frequent traveler with your little one, this is just perfect since it is so easy to pack it up and move about. It even comes with a nice transport bag, as shown below.
The other Petit Terraillon product that caught my fancy is the Music & Light Baby Monitor.
This multi-function baby monitor allows you to keep track of baby either through sound (audio) or by flashing lights on the monitor (visual), or both ways combined. You can use this set of monitors either by pluging them on the base of a recharger or you can use the belt clip it comes with so that you can seamlessly carry it around.
In addition to being a baby monitor, it can also be used in 3 other ways – it has talk function; it can also be used to play soothing music to the baby; and finally you can use it as a night light. You can use this set of monitors within a range of 400 meters.
