Would you pay over RM100 for a good pair of walking shoes? Most people would answer yes. If you are one of them and have not tried walking in any Crocs shoes, perhaps you can give it some consideration the next time you are hunting for comfortable shoes. Read on for my personal take and review of the Crocs Capri shoes for women.
When Crocs first came to Malaysia and opened its flagship store at Ikano Power Center, I didn’t give much thought to buying anything there because I didn’t like the initial designs that came in. You know, those Ronald McDonald shoe designs with holes everywhere. And at that time I thought it was incredibly expensive to be paying for such a design that I had found to be weird.
Then over the years, more and more designs filled the storefront and many other Crocs outlets sprouted up in all major malls. Before I knew it, I was in and out of the Crocs outlets checking out their shoes. It is without a doubt that Crocs shoes provide true comfort to the feet. All the shoes are very lightweight and they are designed in such a way that it makes for easy walking. The image below shows the technology of Crocs shoes.
I recently bought a pair of Crocs Capri (pictured at the start of this post) for mom and it’s her first pair of Crocs. I paid RM169 for this pair of casual flip-flop. If you’re thinking that it’s expensive paying this price for a pair of common looking Japanese slippers, well I used to think that too. But mom found so much comfort walking in them that it’s more than paid off in its own ways forking out that kind of money. She’s so bought on the comfort the Crocs Capri provides that she doesn’t mind buying more of them!
The contours of the shoes fit nicely to the shape of the feet and it adds to the comfort of it being so lightweight. It does give it quite a seemless feel to be walking in a pair of well fitted shoes that don’t weigh you down as you walk. They are perfect for those long day out where lots of walking are expected.
I also like the fact that the Capri is slightly heeled. I find that I cannot walk properly in totally flat shoes and many flip-flops actually come in flats. This little raised heel in the Crocs Capri actually make it a very comfortable fit for people like me.
I too have been eyeing some pairs of shoes at Crocs myself. I personally like the Capri too, as well as some cute Mary Janes. I also like some cute walking shoes that come in fabric instead of the trademark latex of Crocs. Each time I’m in any Crocs outlet, I just can’t make up my mind which I like better. I’ve yet to buy a pair for myself, but it looks like I’m finally getting closer to buying one soon. And I look forward to a good pair of comfortable walking shoes.
So if you’re thinking twice about buying comfortable shoes from Crocs, you need not. They are truly worth the money spent. Good walking shoes are important for our postures so do invest wisely in a pair to save a lot of trouble like back pains and leg injuries due to wearing the wrong types of shoes.
