Have you seen this nutrition info list from McDonalds?

by Penny on October 19, 2009

As we get older more matured, we tend to take our health more seriously and that’s when we start to care about how much calories we consume in our daily food intake, etc. How often do you go to a fast food outlet when you’re in your 30s? I bet a lot less often than our younger days.

But these days, McDonalds has made a strong comeback to the fast food industry by changing its customers perception from a children’s fast food restaurant to one that is more adult and family friendly place to dine. Don’t you agree? Just notice the change of tagline to I’m Lovin’ It and the way most McDonalds outlets are being renovated into a more warm and cosy place to be, and you’ll probably agree.

Not only that, of late McDonalds has also introduced us to its nutritional value for each of its offering on the menu. You may have noticed this, but if you have not, then take a closer look at the sheet of paper that they use to line the tray when giving you your order.

On it, it has a long table that shows you each burger, breakfast set, side orders and even beverages’ nutritional information. I just happen to notice it only now. Has it been there all these while, anyone knows?

Anyway, if you are curious to know, I’ve attached the tables here. Sorry it has to be in black and white…and the tables are pretty small below, but you can click on them to see the larger and clearer tables.

So now when you eat a meal at McDonalds, you will know exactly how much you’re consuming in carbs, protein, fats, etc. Hmm…it does make me want to go find some useful diet pill review because it seems like all my chicken burgers (Spicy Chicken McDeluxe to be specific) are more fattening than I thought with such high levels of carbs in it!

Anyone wants to join me?!

I think I’m quite outdated and not very observant, only now I notice it. Haha. It’s true, the cheap meals have over-shadowed pretty much of the new stuff! But seriously, I don’t mind it one bit.
