Yeah, you read it right, my mum is way cooler than me. Just a few days ago she got herself a new toy – a mini Acer notebook!
It’s only been 9 months ago when I wrote about my shopping experience in helping her buy her first notebook, a Lenovo Y410. And now, she’s got a brand new and sleek toy compared to me, using a notebook that’s coming to 3 years of age already. How cool is my mum?!
Anyway, she was so very kind to offer me her Lenovo and even the use of her mini laptop whenever I want, but I declined the Lenovo because I had just done some computer memory upgrades on my little faithful laptop, so it’s still working very well and serving me just fine.
But the mini Acer is very cool, ya?

The Acer netbook is cool. It’s available at RM1499 now… pretty affordable price, but what I don’t like is that it doesn’t come with a DVDROM drive… so can’t view dvd on the go.
Yupe that’s the price my mum bought it for, along with the OS and Microsoft Office as well as some freebies thrown in. Not bad a deal at all! Hmm, good point you have about that DVDROM. It didn’t occur to us!
