My acne remedy

by Penny on August 17, 2008

I am quite blessed in a sense that I don’t often get breakouts, not even during times of hormone imbalance. Well, at least that’s how I feel. I notice that I am more prone to acne when my hair is at a length where the ends brush against my face a lot and I tend to then touch my face a lot when pushing back the hair. But most of the times, my problem spot is often the nose and the area around it.

A couple of weeks ago, I had a huge ugly acne at the side of my nose. There was just no where to hide it, not even with a concealer because it was big! It also overstayed its welcome, lasting a lot longer than the ones I used to get. Seeing how unsightly it is, I had to do something…pinching it out was quite out of the question for me because I was afraid it’ll leave a scar. And if it does, then I would have to rely on acne scars cream to try to undo the damage.

I used a few litle remedies and I believe they did help to get rid of the acne a little faster than if I were to leave it alone. I used a little bit of my Himalaya Dental Cream to apply on the acne for 2 nights and soon, I saw that the acne was ready to be pressed out.

Believe it or not, this worked wonders on the acne

But before I did that, still out of fear of scarring, I decided to dab a little of Body Shop’s Tea Tree Oil for one night. This oil is also effective. Now it only makes me wonder which was more effective. I guess the next time I have an acne problem, I should try just one remedy at a time and see which one works best.

If you want a good at home acne treatment, try microdermabrasion treatment kits for home use. These kits provide the benefit of microdermabrasion techniques while allowing you to do it in your home, which eliminates the need to find time to work several appointments into your schedule. Not only do they save you time, but microdermabrasion home treatments kits can also save you money over the costly visits to a spa and they really work.

Tea tree oil does wonders drying out the flare-ups. And the old cold visine on q-tip trick surprisingly works well in reducing the pimple’s swelling.

I suffered from acne eighteen months ago. The very best cure which helped me was aloe vera. Simply just apply it on facial area. This method truly helps.
