I realize this is an older post but I'd have to say I prefer Lock & Lock. I spent A LOT of $ on tupperware and can really only say a few of the items I really liked. Most of the covers are really hard to get on.. the aggravation of fighting w/it isn't worth it to me. I bought the entire set of the GoFlex and hated it - they collapse too easily when you don't have them full. They are currently collecting dust. My husband takes a lot of left overs w/him to work and complains that the tupperware tops always pop off and make a huge mess of foods in his work bag - he usually has to put the tupperware container in a bag incase this happens - which seems sort of pointless. We prefer the lock & lock and I just purchased more to replace most of my tupperware. The tops stay on great and my husband likes the fact that you can see what is in the container w/out having to actually open it. I do like some tupperware things - but mostly just their smaller cereal bowls, pitcher and I do like the fruit/veggie containers that keep those foods fresh. As for the ordinary containers for left overs - I don't like them. I'm most certainly a vote for Lock & Lock.

After spending a lot of money on Lock & Lock, I found you need to be careful when buying Lock & Lock. Lock & Lock is only good if it is made in Korea. I bought two storage sets at Walmart which are made in China, the inside surface of the container changes color (become "white" like when you burn the plastic) after half year. But other sets bought from costco are still good after 4 years usage.
