Since Tropicana City Mall opened early this year (or was it end of last year?), I discovered a new place to shop for women’s clothing – Kitschen. I believe the Kitschen outlet in Tropicana City Mall is the first store and it has steadily been sprouting out in more major malls by now. The latest one to open is at 1 Utama’s new wing on Lower Ground floor, heading towards the new Cold Storage supermarket.

Kitschen is a new fashion line for both men and women’s clothing. I find the selection there pretty wide, with a good selection of comfortable t-shirts and jeans, stylish tops and jackets, shirt and shift dresses and some flirty numbers too. Over at the guy’s section…erm…I don’t know, I didn’t pay any attention to the guy’s line of clothes!
I’ve been visiting Kitschen’s outlets quite regularly and each visit, I’m sure to find at least one piece of clothing that I really like. The prices are quite reasonable, and I would classify the price range to be of medium range.
Decent t-shirts made of really soft and comfortable materials are priced at RM29.90 each and the quirky designs are actually quite fun to wear, even at my age (I’m in the BIG-THREE-O age bracket). Other tops and shirts range from about RM49.90 to Rm69.90, depending on designs. If I’m not mistaken, jeans, pants and skirts cost about RM69.90 to about RM99.90. The shirt dresses and shift dresses that I saw cost around RM129.90.
Sizes of clothes for women start from extra small right up to extra large. So, many of us in all kinds of shapes and sizes could possibly find ourselves some decent and nice clothes from Kitschen.
The Kitschen outlet in 1 Utama is currently running a promotion. If you purchase 3 items in a single receipt, you get a 25% discount. Not too bad a deal, huh? I found 2 pieces that I like so far…will I find a third and go grab these nice and chic clothes soon? I hope so. But then again I’m really trying not to spend. Gotta save up for the shopping trip in Bangkok!

Came across this store too at Mines shopping complex.
Stylish but slightly pricy. Nichii is still more affordable though.
Oh I didn’t know they opened one at The Mines too. Expanding pretty fast considering they’re new in the market. I agree that Nichii is a tad bit cheaper, but the trend of clothes is pretty different between the two.
i am from HK and discovered kitschen when i was traveling in KL in april this year. really like this new brand but sadly no branch here in hk yet….anyone knows any online shopping site for this up-and-coming brand??
Actually, Kitschen first open at Mines, 1U, Pyramid then Tropicana Mall
Lilian, not sure whether there will be an online shop for Kitschen. I checked out their website once and I remember it being a work-in-progress site. If you have friends in KL, you can try to get them to shop for you!
Kitschen fan, oh really?! I’m so outdated then! Must frequent other malls more often then! Haha.
are you sure mines was first? i think it’s pretty new. i know ou and pyramid quite a bit already. hrmm
Yup da first store was opened in Mines. very sure about that.. =)
I think their line is very coll yet simple not that pricey. Value for money.
I love kitschen very much…the price are reasonable.
but kitschen is from which country?
yeah! i’ve been to the kitschen store quite often too. I’ve went to the kitschen store in melaka parade and minds, the clothes are cute and at very reasonable price. Even i’m still a student, i can afford it to be more stylish and having fun with the fashion~ =) happy to go there again!
Btw! i’ve found the kitschen website, it’s not much. But quite useful if anyone want to know the location for the shop.
