I recently spotted this party board game called Partini that seems quite fun. The first impression I got when I saw this board game was that it’s designed by the well-known party planner David Tutera. The design on the packaging looks very much like his signature TV series.
This game makes a great ice-breaker as well as provides some hours of fun to guests. There are several fun items to do in this game. This is how it works. Split people into teams and each team members’ role is determined by the game’s coasters. There are 6 different types of games. There’s a musical challenge where you are required to hum a tune to your team members with absolutely no singing allowed. This sounds easy but trust me, it’s not! I’ve played a game once that requires humming and it’s really harder than I thought.
If you pick up a mime twist coaster, then you will have to zip your lip and act what is written on the coaster. Another fun game is to write about something true or funny about a team member. Perhaps the most fun game will be the clay smoothie where you mold and fold some clay into the shape of whatever’s given on the coaster. There’s also a guessing game of what’s not. You are not allowed to say what the item is, but only what it is not. Takes some skills here, don’t you think? Another challenging one would be to aim and fire away some balls into cups (all these items are provided).
Doesn’t it sound like quite a bit of fun? The next time you’re hosting a party or going on a trip with some friends, this may be a good game to bring along for a night of fun indoors. This board game is by Hasbro and costs RM139.90.
