I can store the world with MyBook!
by Penny on March 4, 2008
My laptop is bursting with too many photos and videos of my baby. I was considering alternatives to adding on storage space, either add it directly to my notebook or use external hard disks. I opted for the latter since it seems easier to just plug and play, plus the fact that it’s portable.
I was browing for some external USB pocket hard-drive and was keen on buying a 160GB one. Then, I saw a new product called MyBook, a storage device that looks so sleek and nice and has extreme capacity that I could never dream of.
The minimum storage capacity starts at 320GB and goes up to 1TB (that’s one trillion byte!). It weighs around 1kg and is almost the size of a regular novel. It has many editions meant for different types of users – home, office, essential, world, pro, etc. It retails from RM399 to RM1,050.
I was completely bought in on this (I love gadgets!) and I was so delighted when I found an online merchant who offered a great bargain for a MyBook Essential 320GB. I called them up to double-check that the offer is good and true and made my order immediately. They are currently out of stock but it should be coming in about 2 days. I’m so excited, I can’t wait to see this beauty!
