Hooked on cooking pots and pans

In the last few weeks I happen to come across many rounds of sales for cooking pots and pans. Not that I was shopping for them, just happen to see them while shopping at the household departments, looking for suitable gifts for friends’ weddings and house warming occasions.

Because of the sales that were going on, I was tempted several times to get some of those kitchen ware. I was especially thrilled by those little pans meant to fry nicely shaped eggs! But they sure are expensive even when it’s on sale, for such a small pan that can’t really cook you anything else other than a prettily and perfectly round shaped egg. It’s not a practical purchase so I stayed away.

Other great buys that I saw at Robinsons and Metrojaya were for all clad copper core pots. I haven’t made any decision to splash on them, still thinking it over. One of my WMF pots (read about the great buy on the WMF pots here) may need to be replaced soon due to an over-boil incident which tarnished the pot a little.

Hmm…better don’t go shopping so much otherwise I’m encouraged to spend and worse still, find reasons to spend on all these kitchen ware which are quite big ticket items!
