I was reading a money saving tip in this month’s issue of Personal Money and the feature for the month was on motorhomes. Apparently it’s now a good time to head over to Europe because fares are lower and if you are into renting motorhomes, it’s also a cheaper season.
I believe this to be so, since now is Autumn and is definitely not a peak season for holiday makers. However, I personally don’t quite like the Autumn season since my student days. It’s the start of earlier nights when the dark sets in around 4.30pm, a vast difference from the long bright sunny summer days, so it is a little depressing for me. So I wouldn’t really choose Autumn time as a preferred holiday time. What about you?
Speaking of motorhomes, I often talk about these recreational vehicles (RVs) in my mummy blog, about how nice it would be to own one and we can be on the go for day or 1-nighter trips whenever we feel like it without having to incur bills for hotel stays. We can also eat in and cook whenever we wish.
This comes in handy when you’ve got a kid and you prefer him to eat home cooked food rather than outside food. So if anyone who owns one of these lux vehicles, do share stories of how you have enjoyed and made use of your rv. I also wonder if there are any options for rv financing here in Malaysia since RVs are not quite the thing here.
