Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash

by Penny on February 24, 2009

Some two weeks ago, I started breaking out for no reason. I don’t often breakout, and when I do, it’s normally just one big zit on the face. However, this time, I had 3 ugly red zits, one on my cheek, one just under my eye bag and one on my forehead. It was really a sore sight! At the same time, I felt that my face felt stretched and tight after cleansing. So I decided to change my facial wash and was looking for something that might help with the acne problem.

I shopped around, unsure what to get and finally decided to try the Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash. I chose this facial wash because it contains neem and turmeric which are well known for their purifying function to help clear blemishes, and also because it is a soap free cleanser.

It comes in two variations. You can choose between the gel or foaming facial wash. The gel facial wash retails at RM24.90 whilst the foaming facial cleanser retails for RM34.90. You can find these products at pharmacies as well as at Himalaya Herbals outlets in most malls.

I chose the facial wash in gel form and I use it minimum twice a day. It spreads easier on a damp face versus a dry one. Its scent is mild and I personally find it refreshing compared to perfumed facial cleansers.

Did the Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash help to clear my blemish? Yes! I began to see the zits disappearing after about 3 to 4 days of using this cleanser. They didn’t even get to develop into the big and ripened zits that I would’ve expected them to be. It just gradually went off by itself. I’ve got to say that it really works on a blemished face!

This means they are also in direct control of the ingredients they use in their products and it proves that this product is so effective…
