I hardly ever do much to my hair. Only once in a while I surprise myself by making bad decisions to do bold things to my hair like perm it, cut it short, colour it, etc. But last year I did something which I totally have no regrets on, which is to rebond my hair. I wrote about my experience in my hair rebonding post.
This year, I did my rebonding again at the same place but after that I realised that my hair condition is totally wrecked. Well okay, maybe I exagerate, but it’s really not healthy. So I decided to do something about it. When I saw how nicely May had her hair done at Twist Hair Salon based in Nikko hotel, I wanted to give them a try too. After all, they’re running a promotion to have any 2 hair services done for just RM199. That’s dirt cheap if you go for expensive hair services and treatments. You can do anything from a hair cut to a rebonding to hair colour and even hair treatment. Just pick your wish!
So some weeks back I made an appointment and I did a hair colour and treatment at Twist Hair Salon. They were very professional and we discussed beforehand what I wanted to do. I shared with the hairstylist why I needed to get my treatment done and he actually advised me to get a trim to get rid of split and dry ends.
But since I wanted to take advantage of the RM199 for 2 hair services, I decided to just do what I went in there to do, and leave the trim for another time. When I was all done about 2 hours later, at least my hair turned out healthier looking. But I do agree with the hairstylist that it will look better and the colour will stand out more if I did a highlight.
I’m actually thinking of taking advantage of the RM199 package again before it ends in July. By then, I think I will go for that hair trim and highlight just to complete all that I want to do with my hair. I think that’s my quota for hairdos this year. I normally never do half as much in any given year!

hii this salon located in nikko hotel? is the 2 hair services included rebonding or straighten? is it good? last long?
Yes it is inside the hotel, take the lift to the 5th floor of the hotel. You can ask for any 2 services, including rebonding. I didn’t do my rebonding there, so I can’t comment on that for now…
