I’ve always preferred Guardian over other personal care or pharmacy outlets. Guardian has recently captured a lot of attention with their creative marketing and promotions. Many of its competitors often offer promotions and sales but I believe Guardian has been quite different in the way they approach a promotion or a sale.
Earlier in the year I was hooked on collecting the Paddington Bear stamps just so that I can get a free Paddington Bear from Guardian for my son. Then they ran some exciting special promotions where you can purchase selected items at heavily discounted prices or even for free if you purchase above certain threshold. From these promotions I bought some very useful stainless steel utensil sets that come with a pair of chopsticks, fork and spoon for only RM4.90. I was tempted with the Carven Ong designer bag too but I decided I have too many bags.
Currently, Guardian is running a huge campaign to celebrate its 42nd anniversary. This multiple-fold promotion has a charity tune to it. Guardian works with 3 charity organizations in this campaign, namely PRIDE, Women’s Aid Organisation and World Vision. Jointly, these charity organisations and Guardian are bringing you 20% discounts from 24 participating partners when you donate a minimum of RM2. Isn’t it great, you donate to good causes and you are being rewarded with discounts from some of your favourite brands!
Other goodies that Guardian is offering during this 42nd Anniversary promotion includes various levels of discounts and value buys on some of the selected products in store. Also, Guardian is also offering its customers 4 rewards coupons that can be used at KFC, Pizza Hut, A Cut Above and Starbucks. You do not need to purchase anything in order to get the coupons. Just pick up a copy of the 42nd Anniversary promotion booklet and you will find the 4 rewards coupons on the back page of the booklet.
The coupons entitle you to some discounts when dining at KFC and Pizza Hut outlets, getting some hair services at A Cut Above and also a free refill at Starbucks when you purchase the Starbucks Breakfast Pairings. For not spending any extra money but getting some savings from these Guardian vouchers is really not a bad deal! I’m definitely holding on to these vouchers as I’m a fan of pizzas and I don’t mind the Starbucks breakfast every once in a while.
So if you are going shopping this weekend and need to replenish some vitamins or toiletries, do think about dropping in at Guardian and see if you could pick them up for a little less and grab the coupons at the same time. If you would like, you can also make your contribution for that donation drive too.
