Unlike before I had a kid, off and on I would spring clean and find lots of items I’ve been collecting for the longest time but have forgotten all about them. Stashed up in boxes after boxes, they would’ve been difficult to find even if I remembered having them. So whenever I did spring cleaning then, I would take all those forgotten items out including clothes I don’t wear anymore and found ways to get rid of them without having to waste by throwing them out.
For a long time now I have not done any spring cleaning. But I’ve also go to say that my stash of forgotten items have not increased by that much because I now don’t spend time collecting stuff for myself. More for my son instead. Nevertheless, I feel that we are too cluttered and whilst I am tempted to start a round of spring cleaning now to clear some space we could all use, I do wonder what I should do with a lot of the things I still have.
I thought a garage sale might be a good idea but in this country it’s hardly ever heard of. I know there’s a weekend market at Amcorp Mall that a lot of sellers put on sale their pre-loved or used items. It sounds like a good idea but then again I don’t know if I can spare that kind of time at a weekend market to man the stall.
In any case, I really feel the need to get rid of stuff…otherwise I just can’t imagine the day we move to another home and we have all these stuff to lug about. Worst yet if we’re going to do any long distance moving! It’ll cost a bomb to hire professional services just to move our pre-loved junk!
So let me find some time and some smart way one of these days and see how I can meaningfully be rid of some stuff. Especially books. I do have a huge collection and I think I can let some of them go…sob sob.

Hi Penny,
You can sell them to me…:) Im collecting books to do up my “library”. I also have a cheap rental book club if you’re interested to join. A friend and I share books to rent out (more like sharing) with friends and workmates…
Evs, that would be just great! I didn’t know you were doing this conveniently book club!
Brilliant! I’ll wait for your call then!
