Do you know where to shop for nice and unique bedside table lamps? The reason I ask is because I’ve been trying to find some nice table lamps for the room but never really come across any that are unique.
I’ve been to places like Ikea, some small but expensive home furnishing shops, even light fixture stores, but I’ve never found any that catches my fancy. We’ve currently use some very normal looking ones that we bought from Bangkok and I find them rather boring.
You might ask why the fuss in choosing a lamp, a lamp is just a lamp, to light up the room! True, but I just wanted something nice and different that can also act as a nice decoration piece for the home.
We used to use a crystal salt lamp as the bedside table lamp because the shade of lights that illuminates the room was just perfect due to the pinkish colour of the salt lamp.
But the lamp is no longer functional. Otherwise I would continue using it. Other salt lamps I’ve come across just don’t make the cut compared to that particular one that I had. What a pity, huh?
So does anyone know where is a good place to shop for beautiful and unique pieces of bedside table lamps? Of course if they are inexpensive, all the more the better! Although I want a nice piece, I’m not willing to splash too much on one.
