One of my favourite pair of jeans used to be one that is a high waist cut jeans. I bought it in the year 2001 and I wore it right up to last year. It’s so comfortable and seasoned that it was a shame to finally throw it out because the jeans was getting out of shape and didn’t look good on me anymore.
Since then I’ve been trying to find a similar cut jeans to that pair but can hardly come close to getting a pair just like it. All the jeans that I come across these days are low waist cut while what I really want is a high waist one.
I guess the trend these days don’t favour high waist designs anymore. It’s a pity because I prefer to wear those compared to the low waist ones. Not very comfortable especially after having a kid because the tummy area isn’t exactly flat now. So when you wear a pair of jeans that’s low waist, sometimes the unsightly tummy shows.
Seeing that it’s almost impossible to find that kind of jeans anymore, maybe the only solution is for me to reduce belly fat so that I fit more comfortably into the jeans of today! 
It’s going to take a while to do that, so if anyone knows where I can find some high waist jeans, please tell me so!

try liz clairborne, i got one right after my confinement, told the lady i needed high waist jeans coz just had a c-sec and she handed me one which fits perfectly! thanks to her as it is now one of my best buys! also u can try debenhams i just bought a ‘jeggings’ (jeans+leggings) – slim fit, high waist, not soft material (great slimming effect!)..and I’m still on the search for high-waist good cutting jeans so let me know too, happy shopping
Bought a pair of jeans from Levi online, 505’s just like a pair I have that are maybe 5-8 years old. SO disappointed because they are too high-waist for me. They have like an 8″ rise, and the old ones are only 5.5″. I prefer the lower ones, because I am short-waisted and don’t like my jeans so close to my bra strap. Haha.
