With Raya coming in just 3 weeks, most people are in festive moods to shop, shop and shop by now. Even those who aren’t celebrating are also keen to shop because the sales and shopping crowd just have that temptation and momentum that you can’t easily resist, right?
I guess this must be our version of the American Black Friday where we start shopping for the holidays. If you don’t already know what a Black Friday is, you can always read it here on Wiki. It would be really nice to get a day off from work to shop like how they have it in the US, won’t it?
I haven’t shopped in quite a while but I always look forward to shopping at the end of the year when Christmas comes around. I find the colours, atmosphere and holiday mood tend to make me feel like a shopaholic which is very bad for the purse! Now that it’s already September, Christmas is just 3 months away. It’s not that long more to go. Gotta start cracking for ideas for Christmas gifts.
Perhaps I will do yet another gift ideas series like the ones done for last Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Parents Day this year. Anyone keen to contribute ideas, let me know. I can let you guest post on this blog for that purpose if you want to
