Father’s Day is approaching, it’s this Sunday, folks! Have you gotten anything for dear dad yet? Well I know I’m falling behind on my Father’s Day gift idea series but I’m trying to catch up. So here’s another gift suggestion for dad this Father’s Day. Why not let him have a cool GPS device from Garmin?
Of course giving dad a GPS device does not mean he doesn’t know his way around or that he needs direction badly. It’s just a very useful device for the times when he needs to go some place unfamiliar to him.
Apart from being a device that helps to navigate, the Garmin GPS device is also a great reference point for places of interests. We often have trouble thinking where to eat whenever we’re eating out and we just fish out the GPS and hunt down the food places. A list of good places to eat pop up almost instantaneously and we’re spoilt for choice! Even if it’ some place we don’t know how to get to, it’s not a problem because the device will bring you right to it.
The device also comes with some warning system like speed traps or police road blocks. We’ve had that flashed on our mobile GPS system, but many a time we found that the police road block warnings weren’t true. But still, better to have false alarm than to run into trouble.
