Since you have about 3 more weeks to Father’s Day, it’s sufficient time to make something special for dad for Father’s Day. Instead of spending money on a gift, why not spend the time to make him a special scrapbook of fond and special memories?

Pool together photographs, little mementoes and whatever special items between your family or just between you and dad and design your scrapbook just for dad. I’m sure he will be touched by your loving efforts to work on this little project just for him.

If you are not good with handiworks (I definitely am not!), you can get some help with downloading images or even design ideas from the internet and print them on coloured paper and then pasting them into a scrapbook. Or, you can make some nice custom rubber stamps to use on the scrapbook. I’ve seen a little store in Amcorp mall doing nice personalised ones.

Alternatively, if you think the scrapbook gift is a good idea but don’t want to make it yourself, you can still present dad with a scrapbook that you can order from the many online scrapbook sites.

I personally feel that this is a special gift for dad. Especially if you fill up the scrapbook with things that are dear to him. Whether it’s a beautiful family photo, a picture of his beloved pet, special stories within your family, his favourite poems, etc, it’s all good things to treasure in life and captured in a special book made just for him. Isn’t that just special?
