Easy navigation does it
by Penny on March 11, 2008
I’ve seen GPS at work in South Korea several years ago when we were just beginning to work on monitoring traffic conditions on the road, real-time in the country. I was impressed with it and wondered how long we had to wait before we could install one.
Today, I had a chance to try one out. Although not as advanced as the one I saw years back in Korea, I was indeed impressed by it. What I like better about this device compared to the Korean one is that it’s portable. So before you head out to your destination, you could actually locate the place and do a route simulation to see which route to take.
The screen is rather small but my personal opinion is that it’s good enough. After all, we’re meant to be navigated by voice rather than the map on screen. This device uses MapKing which I heard is more superior than other options available in the market.
Now I can’t wait to be challenged to go some place unknown to me…I want to see how cool this device is in getting me from Point A to Point B! Here’s how it looks like.
