Does the Eucerin’s Pigmentation Regulating Fluid work?

by Penny on September 8, 2008

More than a month ago, I wrote about Eucerin’s Pigmentation Regulating Fluid (read the post here) and promised to review the product after using it for 4 weeks and 8 weeks respectively, because the results are supposedly to show after using it for these periods of time.

It’s now about 5 weeks since I started using it. According to Eucerin’s claims, after 4 weeks of using this anti-pigment fluid, the skin is brighter and more even-toned. Has the Eucerin Pigmentation Regulating Fluid work for me?

I’m glad to say that someone has noticed that my skin is indeed brighter! I didn’t want to be impartial about this so I asked someone else if there has been any noticeable change. The answer I got was “your face looks fairer”. Well, I suppose I can pass that feedback off as having brighter skin as claimed by Eucerin.

So there you have it, it worked for me. Now it remains to be seen if it will continue to impress me with the second claim which is supposed to kick in after 8 weeks of use. The expected result is that the appearance of pigmentary discolorations should significantly be reduced.

I have 3 more weeks to go before I do another review of this product. Stay tuned!

When you use eucerin anti pigment fluid do you use moist. Is this a moist. cream with SPF 20?

I still use a moisturiser before applying this anti-pigmentation fluid. It isn’t a moisturiser, well at least that’s not said on the bottle. So I think you will still need a moisturiser.

Hi Lux. There is an option to buy from eBay if you trust the sellers. I found this site by a random search which may help you: http://cgi.ebay.com.sg/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130264901771&ih=003&category=33164

can you use a self tanning cream along with this one, that is, will the self tanning cream have any effect, considering the fact that this product affect the melanin in the skin

I really wouldn’t know about this…didn’t even think about how they work together or against each other! :P

Is it a sun-block then?

No this is not a sunblock product. Just for pigmentation treatment.
