I used to have a little piggy bank when I was little, but I admit to not really having saved much money in it. It wasn’t one of those that you need to break open to get your savings out, it had a little plastic cap at the bottom that’s removable. He told me I can return in half an hour and he would be ready with the money. Whilst this arrangement seemed convenient, it comes with having to trust the shopowner to be an honest fellow.
Now, I’ve discovered a much easier way to saving up coins and knowing exactly how much it all amounts to. I can bring my change over to the sundry shopowner and know whether he’s counting accurately! Of course I don’t mean for this to be a checking mechanism on his honesty, but hey at least I know if I ever get cheated, right?
