Christmas is a time of giving and the act of giving does not necessarily mean we have to spend a lot of money. Sometimes, the best things in life are free. Wouldn’t you agree that a warm hug is simply priceless?
So we shall start this year’s series of Christmas gift ideas here on Shopping & Sales Queen for those who are shopping on a budget.
One of the best gifts that we can give to friends and loved ones is the gift of books. Cultivating a love and habit for reading is one that will bring someone a long way in life. Reading expands one’s horizons and for some people who read the right books at the right time, it can be life changing. I have gone through such an experience before, therefore I’m speaking from my very own experience.

So if you agree that books are meaningful and great gifts this Christmas, you can shop for plenty of them in all kinds of genre at the Big Bad Wolf Books warehouse sale that starts tomorrow at Amcorp Mall, Petaling Jaya. For more information about this sale, check it out here.
I went for the one sometime in May this year and bought lots of very cheap books. Motivational and self help books, personal finance books, books on enterpreneurship and business insurance, some novels, etc which cost me between RM8 to RM10 per book. Kids’ activity books are also very cheap, from RM2 to RM15, I got very decent items for my son. To see all that I bought, you can read about my raving post here.
So you see, you can pick up great titles for just about anyone you want to buy Christmas gifts for, and since they are so cheap, you probably can afford to pick up 2 to 3 titles instead of just 1 book each for everyone. Isn’t this a great way to spend wisely for something that’s valuable and meaningful to someone important to you this Christmas?
Happy shopping and stay tuned for more Christmas gift ideas coming up!
