If you are shopping for Christmas gifts for kids, here’s one that I would recommend – a junior Scrabble set. Scrabble is quite a favourite board game amongst many adults and it can be so for children too. Not only is a game of Scrabble fun, it is also very educational for adults and children alike. What’s not great about learning new words and terms while having some fun?
I saw a very attractive Scrabble set for kids from Disney, aptly called Junior Scrabble. It’s got the loveable Disney characters on the Scrabble board instead of the plain board we normally have. It sure lighs up the game for children! Amongst the charaters featured are some from Jungle Book, Winnie The Pooh and the ever popular Mickey Mouse and a few others.
I didn’t get to see the inside of the board game but from what is seen in the picture above, there are some chips in addition to the cubes of alphabets. I have no idea what they are because a standard Scrabble board game of the adults don’t have such a featue. It’s probably another interesting feature for the kids.
You can find this board game at Toys R Us and probably at major department stores in town too. If I’m not mistaken, Isetan probably has this. I’ve not seen it in Jusco though. So do look out for it and share with us where else you can find this great game for kids. I’m sure the kids will be thrilled with this colourful board game!

The Junior Scrabble set looks good and should be suitable for children and perhaps the family.
