I recently came across an ad in the newspapers about Starbuck’s promotions. One of them that caught my eye was to buy a Starbucks 2009 Planner at a great price of just RM18 if you purchase any grande (medium size) beverage at Starbucks.
I headed over to Starbucks to have a look at the 2009 planner and I fell in love with it! It’s jacket comes in a lovely soft leather and is in brown in colour, held closed by a large strip of canvas strap. The sheets inside are just as exciting. It comes with empty pages of lined sheets for those who need to write notes on lines. It also has a monthly calendar for each month of the year. As you flip the pages, you will also find some very lovely artwork filling up the planner. The paper used for the sheets seem to be good quality recycled paper, so for the environmentally conscious, this is definitely a green planner.
This makes a wonderful Christmas gift and is definitely a unisex gift. I bought it for my better half and he loves it. I haven’t even had the time to take some pictures of this lovely planner before it has been whisked away to his office already! So to make do, I found some pictures of what it looks like on the inside pages so you can take a peek.

The planner comes with a binding ring (the one pictured above does not). That is an important feature to me because it means that the planner can be reused once the pages have been used up. You can buy your own refills and just slot them in and use it year after year. A very lasting gift, if you ask me!
For those who use an organizer, or diary or planner, whatever you may call it, head over to take a look at the Starbucks 2009 planner for yourself. It makes a really affordable gift at just RM18. Ordinary organizers and planners cost a lot more than RM18 each! In addition, RM1 out of this purchase will be given to charity. A truly giving gift!

Yes, the photo I featured in the post is a version of Philippine’s Starbucks Planner. To be honest, I much prefer our version simply because of the ring binder to allow you to reuse it!

Jasmine, I believe it is available at all Starbucks provided they still have stock. Just a couple of days ago I was at Starbucks in Centre Point and they had these planners. So if you can’t find it at The Curve’s outlet, try Centre Point.
