Last week I was aimlessly walking about KLCC when I bumped into two friends. We chatted for a few minutes and then one of them asked whether I received a message from Maxis to claim a free mascara from Chanel. I didn’t get any so she forwarded me the MMS. Apparently, you can claim the freebie using either an MMS sent directly to you from Maxis or from another Maxis user.
I wasn’t quite interested at first because I don’t use make-up. It’ll just be a white elephant unless I give it away to someone who uses mascara. My friends urged me to go get it anyhow because it’s the new range of mascara that they were giving out called Exceptionnel.
No harm in getting it and then decide what I would do with it later, right? So I headed to where Chanel had a huge booth doing their promotion. The girl asked to see the MMS and asked if it was from Maxis or a friend. After she sighted the message, she made me delete the message right away. Smart move! I didn’t even have a chance nor to think of forwarding it to anyone before I made the claim.
So anyway, here’s the nice mascara I got from Chanel.
