Lately the internet is key to many people. Not only is it a vast pool of knowledge and resources, it has also become a business medium for thousands of people. Before, to be able to sell something, you will most likely think it a hindrance in terms of setting up shop. But now with the internet, people don’t need a store front so businesses on the internet have mushroomed all over the world almost instantly.
Some of the most popular products sold on the internet are ladies clothing and skin care. For the latter type of products, I actually have reservations. For those skin care brands which are unknown, I highly doubt the quality of it and since they are on sale only on the internet, I don’t even have a chance to try a sample to see if it works for me.
Even if it is a well known brand being sold online by individual sellers, I also wonder why they would be able to sell cheaper than the shops if their prices are indeed cheaper. If they are comparable, I would prefer to walk in to the shops to get it so that I know I’m getting the real thing.
There are lots of sites selling very niche products and brands too, and I’ve not really heard of many so it makes me somewhat uncomfortable. If I were to purchase the acclaimed best acne treatment online, how do I really verify that information and who do I go to if there’s a problem?
But those are just my personal thoughts and concerns. I know many women are ok buying their personal care products online. What about you? Are you comfortable buying skin care products online?
