Hi there! If you're new here, and enjoy what you're reading, you can subscribe to my feed. Thanks for visiting!

Every year I just never know where to find great Chinese New Year cakes, cookies, snacks and those arrow roots crisps. All I do is just buy from stalls at the shopping malls and hope that they turn out nice.
But some of our friends actually have theirs specially ordered and they’re all apparently home-made. I wonder how they come across these contacts to begin with. Come the time for new year shopping for these stuff, I would never remember to call on my friends and ask where to get these goodies. Or if I do remember, apparently it’s too late because people order them way in advance. Imagine that!
I’m not particularly fussy about these items, so maybe that’s why I just don’t know where to find the best of the best or the so-claimed best CNY goodies. But I imagine that if I were particular about finding the best of these snacks, I would need lots of diet pills after the festivities!
So where do you find all your goodies? If there are any sharings here, at least I know I can come back to this post next year and all my answers would still be here for me

Buy the Yong Sheng brand which you can get from most Jusco outlets. They come in nice metal containers and looks very presentable. I spent a lot on them this year
. The pineapple and almond cookies are fantastic. http://www.yongsheng.com.my/
Ever since I began eating healthy food, I have been getting my CNY cookies from Delcie’s Desserts. They pineapple tarts and green peas are the best i have tasted plus it’s healthier too!! Check out their website at http://www.delciesdesserts.com
This year I’m definitely buying from them again.
