With all the sales going on from Air Asia and MAS not to mention the many tour agencies offering good packages for tours, it does seem like a great time to shop for some holiday packages. I would so love to pack up and go for a long break although it is rather impossible at the moment, due to many reasons. Work, family and the thought of saving versus spending.
If I were to get over the above so-called barriers to going on a vacation, the one place that I would love to go to is the US. I’ve never been there. I know it’s halfway around the world to get there, through the many torturous hours of flight, but I’m guessing it’ll be worthwhile.
I love big cities and I think I will love shopping in US. The things are are actually cheaper even when you convert it to our local currency. I can imagine spending a bomb just to shop there! Which is why it’ll be great to book some affordable accommodations to save on that and spend more on shopping!
I’ve been recommended by a friend to use Westgate to book some reasonably priced rooms if I do make the decision to book a package there. I’ll KIV that.
Well, if only…if only. Maybe I should make this trip to the US a plan for 2 or 3 years down the road? And save up for it starting now. That way, perhaps I won’t feel so guilty about spending the money that should be saved right now. Am I making any sense?
