Borders is having a book fair

Borders is doing a big time fair at the center of The Curve over the next few days. I think it’s made to coincide with the school holidays that has just started. The reason I came to this conclusion is because a lot of the book deals offered are for young readers.

Lots of books are going on 30% discount. Although the bunting says sale up to 50% discount, I didn’t see those. Probably because it was so crowded and I couldn’t manouvre a baby pram through all that crowd to get a better look!

Anyway, you will also find the famous Borders’ promotions of “Buy 3 for the price of 2″ for many books including a suite of children’s books. There are also discounts for many VCD and DVD titles. From movies to kids’ collection, you will find them all.

I find the sales for Chinese books a lot more attractive. I saw signs that say books going for RM10 to RM15 for many children books in Chinese language. I guess there are similar good deals on Chinese books of interest to the adults too.

Now’s a good time to pick up all the books and movies you’ve been KIV-ing, if you ask me! Happy shopping!
