As much as I’ve complained about Air Asia every now and then, I still do give it up to their ways of cutting down air fares so that everyone can fly (tacky line, I know!). I was pleased to see that they’ve done it yet again to abolish more costs of flying this time, by cutting down on admin fees.

Not too long ago Air Asia prided itself for being the first airline to abolish fuel charges. Now, it is again the leader in the industry to do away with admin fee, so that Air Asia passengers only pay for the air fare and airport taxes. I only hope that the fares will not be jacked up.

Kudos to Air Asia and I hope they will continue to bring more innovation, destinations and good service to us all. I shall complain less of them if they keep up the good work.

For those who are looking for cheaper and smarter ways to travel and go on holidays, this is a great deal and the travel period is until next year. So you have lots of time to plan ahead and hopefully by then the A H1N1 pandemic would have died down and the situation sees some improvement.

Happy travelling to holiday-makers!

Updated:

I just read in the latest news release that Air Asia is now eyeing to fly to the US! How great a news is that? It’s super expensive to fly there on any airlines so if a budget airline can give us that option to go to the States for a lot cheaper, it will be something wonderful to hope for. Especially for someone like me who have always wanted to visit. Now all those Outer Banks rentals ads that I receive off and on won’t just go to waste. I can actually consider them the moment Air Asia says go!
