Chinese New Year is a great time to show your love and giving side not only to your family and friends, but also those who are in need of much care and love, the likes of people in homes. In times like this, when we shop for all the goodies that bring delight to our homes as we celebrate the new year, we could also shop with the needs of these people in mind.
I remember visiting a children’s home once and although many of the kids face many challenges in life brought about possibly by cerebral palsy injuries or other forms of deformities, they are quite happy and cheerful kids. The visit brought much delight to them just to have someone shower them some attention and goodies. And that was just on an ordinary weekend. Imagine how happy the kids will be when they have visitors dropping in to care about them during the festive season.
