2Gb Imation Flash Drive
by Penny on July 20, 2008
Being a gadget lover, I’ve now owned a thumbdrive larger than a 256Mb. So that tells you how long ago I’ve not bought a thumbdrive. And the reason being I’ve been buying bigger capacity devices like the portable hard-disk that comes with 40Gb of storage and very recently the Western Digital 360Gb MyBook Essential (previous post
here). I also don’t use thumbdrives on-the-go because I don’t copy files home from work or any other place.
But since the digital photo frame came along (previous post here), I have been using my 256Mb thumbdrive to store photos, music and movies to be plugged into the photo frame. I find that the capacity is definitely not sufficient.
I have been shopping around for a thumbdrive and decided on Imation’s Nano Flash Drive that comes in 2Gb. It has a swivel cap so it’s good for people like me who are likely to misplace it. It’s also very compact so at least it won’t be sticking out a the sides of the photo frame. I paid RM29 for it and it even comes with a 5-year warranty! Definitely value for money!
